Let's Face It - Stuff Happens

No one knows it better than us, sh*t happens.

Our advisors don't encourage poor driving habits, but we understand that sometimes even the most perfect person can get caught having a bad moment. Its tough to understand complicated court documents, let alone attend various matters related to your incident. That's where people often make the most mistake, don't fight - just accept the consequences right?  Wrong.

You May Not Be Guilty

Isn't the saying "Everyone is Innocent Until Proven Guilty". Well maybe not always. Often when you receive one or more driving violations, there are some available options for you to provide evidence of your innocence. Typically, you have 14 days to file your defence. But the options can be difficult to understand, followed by date after date in court. And when you do finally receive your trial date, how are you expected to know what evidence to provide to defend yourself?

What About Points?

Often time the issuing police officer, crown representative, or judge will reference points. Otherwise known as Demerit Points, are associated with your licensing and the status of your drivers license. Getting too many will have your license suspended or revoked. However, there is a common misunderstanding that this will not affect your insurance.

This is absolutely untrue. Even accepting an administrative conviction such as failure to present vehicle ownership can have costly and devastating impacts to your future insurance premiums, especially for newer drivers. Do not get caught being misinformed, it will remain on your records for at least three (3) years.
